About Biobased Products Coalition

Biobased product manufacturers and allied organizations launched the Biobased Products Coalition (BPC) in 2007 to focus and coordinate industry efforts to improve the federal biobased program as well as establishing additional other favorable federal policies and incentives, including a tax credit. A key strength of the BPC is that it provides a forum for biobased manufacturers of all sizes to work with farmer and other trade associations to present a unified industry voice on federal policy.

The BPC is managed by Gordley Associates, a government relations corporation in Washington, D.C.  with more than 20 years of experience successfully representing companies and trade associations with interests in agriculture, biofuels, biotechnology and biobased products in the federal legislative and regulatory arena. Gordley Associates working with BPC are John Gordley and Tom Hance.

The Coalition contracts for lobbying, communication, and outreach services with Karen Coble Edwards and for technical and regulatory analysis with  Sueanne Pfifferling.
