BPC at Senate Hearing

The Biobased Products Coalition (BPC) includes large and small companies that make biobased products and intermediate ingredients and agriculture-based organizations that represent feedstock providers. The BPC was formed in 2007 with an initial focus on improving and accelerating implementation of the federal biobased product preferred procurement program established by the 2002 Farm Bill and administered by the US Department of Agriculture (USDA).

On July 14th, Biobased Products Coalition members were chosen by Senate Agriculture, Nutrition & Forestry Committee Chairwoman Debbie Stabenow (D-Mich) to testify on the potential of biobased products ‘Grow Jobs in Rural America.’ Full article located under Government Affairs, Federal.
